ANNUAL CONVENTION
Join us in Kelowna | March 22-23, 2013
We invite you to join us March 22-23, 2013 for our 20th Annual Convention in Kelowna, British Columbia. This is our second year at the Delta Grande Okanagan Hotel in Kelowna and we are excited about the new venue and all that Kelowna offers visitors.
As the largest city sitting on Okanagan Lake, Kelowna is a beautiful and easily accessible destination for a relaxing weekend away. In addition to the fun, social atmosphere our Convention is known for, your weekend in Kelowna will be filled with beautiful scenery, great dining, wineries, golfing and hiking trails.
British Columbia is home to an amazing diversity of big game species and many miles of spectacular, untouched wilderness. Each year our members generously donate high quality hunting, fishing and wilderness adventures to our auction fundraiser. Please call 604-541-6332 for more information.
On Friday, March 22, 2013, the GOABC will host its first BC Hunter Night, welcoming residents of BC to join us for a fun and memorable evening. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. for a casual reception. Guests will have the opportunity to grab a drink and socialize.
At 6:30 p.m. guests will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and a live and silent auction. One guided sheep hunt (exclusively available to residents of BC) will be up for auction, and several door prizes will be available to event attendees. Tickets for this event are $100 each. Tickets for youth 12 years and younger are $75 and tickets for children under the age of 6 are $30.
On Saturday, March 23, 2012, we will host our 20th Annual Auction, featuring high quality hunting and fishing trips generously donated by members of the GOABC. Guests are more than welcome to join us for a Pancake Breakfast at 11:00 a.m. Tickets prices TBA. The Saturday auction will be open to the public at no cost.
If you’re interested in our auction, but can’t make it to Kelowna, the Saturday hunting and fishing trips will be listed online with Live Auction World in December 2012.
