MIGRATORY GAME BIRDS

        The variety of game birds in Northwestern Canada is dazzling.

        MigratoryGame Birds in the Northwest include Ross, Snow,White-Fronted, Canada and Brant Geese; Coot, Common Snipe, Band-tailed Pigeon, Mourning Dove and a variety of Ducks.

        Migratory Game Birds occur everywhere in Northwestern Canada and often in abundance. Each region has regulations and bag limits in accordance to the species population. In most regions the aggregate daily bag limit for all geese is five. In addition, Pintail, Canvasback, Golden-eye and Harlequin Ducks have restricted daily bag limits.
